I'm Kelly (a.k.a. @ChiCitiGirl), map geek, history enthusiast, architecture admirer and food fanatic. As a certified, 5-star city guide, I've specialized in walking, kayaking, virtual and food tours and scavenger hunts with a penchant for Chicago's hidden-in-plain sight "Y" symbol, known as our municipal device rooted in our city's topography and history. The Windy City has been my home for 25+ years where I've crafted my chef skills at home and in teaching kitchens, leading virtual and in-person cooking events. I also volunteer for the Chicago Architecture Center Open House and as a Chicago History Museum member, use their library to research Chicago and the history of the 125+ year Victorian building I call home. I've traveled the world doing walking and cooking tours and know from personal experience how to make the best of our time together. I try to make a new friend every day and encourage people to always look up, you never know what you might see.
