VIRTUAL: Making the Most of the CTPA Website - Tips & Tricks

You can do all of these things by attending this CTPA Website Tips & Tricks session, suitable for new or returning CTPA members.
Since 2018, CTPA has used the Wild Apricot (WA) association management software. Since its first use, we have had a searchable online directory accessible only to members. This can be helpful to locate guides with certain areas of competency (architecture, cruise guide, gangster tour) or skills (Spanish or other foreign language, transportation). Did you know that?
To reach the directory, you need to log in to the private member portal that is password protected. Have you never logged on before or forget your password? No problem. It is easy to set or reset your password by yourself! Learn how.
Since March of 2022, CTPA members who complete a few extra data fields and check a box, can also be listed in our PUBLIC directory. More than 55 members appear on the public directory, but there are some issues with a few of the member generated listings in our public directory. After you updated or verified your member data and paid dues, did you check to see how your public directory listing appears? If you are going to be visible to the public, you need to make sure you look good! We'll show you how to insert a photo or tweak your text or complete the requisite data fields.
Did you know that you can email other members when logged into Wild Apricot?
Do you need a CTPA member card you can carry in your wallet or send to an employer? There is one you can access online, anytime. See how!
Wild Apricot also tracks when your dues are paid, which programs you signed up to attend, and which you actually attended. While this information is visible only to the individual member and website administrators of CTPA, it might be helpful to you.
