CTPA at the Museum of Broadcast Communications

Join us for an afternoon at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in their new location at 440 West Randolph Street. The museum features several exciting exhibits including the following:

  • I Dream of Jeannie 60th Anniversary
  • Johnny Carson Centennial Exhibit
  • Bozo Circus 65 Years
  • Evolution of Late Night TV
  • Radio Hall of Fame
  • Five Decades of the LOOP.

Here are the event details:

  • It begins on Thursday, January 22 at 12:00 pm with some opening remarks on the background of the museum.
  • Docents will be available to guide us through the museum.
  • After the tour concludes, CTPA members are free to explore on their own all of the other Exhibits found throughout the museum.
  • The Museum of Broadcast Communications is sharing this experience for free with the CTPA, so please consider making a donation or buying something from their gift shop.

The museum is 1 block from Ogilvie Transportation Center and a few short blocks the Red, Blue and Brown line trains. Capacity is limited to the first 35 registrants, and a waitlist will be enabled. If you can no longer attend the event, please cancel your own registration on the calendar tab of the CTPA website or through the WildApricot app. If you have any questions, please reach out to the event's organizer, CTPA member Dave Zino (chicagoman20@comcast.net).

I hope you can join us at the Museum of Broadcast Communications for this special experience!
